This is the full length 90 min. version of Bill Moyer's 1987 scathing critique of the criminal subterfuge carried out by the Executive Branch of the United States Government to carry out operations which are clearly contrary to the wishes and values of the American people. The ability to exercise this power with impunity is facilitated by the National Security Act of 1947. The thrust of the exposé is the Iran-Contra arms and drug-running operations which flooded the streets of our nation with crack cocaine. The significance of the documentary is probably greater today in 2007 than it was when it was made. We now have a situation in which these same forces have committed the most egregious terrorist attack on US soil and have declared a fraudulent so-called "War on Terror". The ruling regime in the US who have conducted the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, are now banging the war drum against Iran. We have the PATRIOT act which has stripped us of many of our basic civil rights justified by the terror of 9/11 which is their own doing.

Based upon a interview between Dr Russell Blaylock (a board certified neurosurgeon) and Jeff Rense, it shows how MSG is extremely bad for the body, not to mention the chronic toxicity in our bodies from Fluoride. It takes a snapshot look at Cho Seung Hui, and his possible link to SSRIs, as well as Eric Harris in the Columbine Shooting... This film is public domain please copy and share freely.

First hour guest, consumer privacy expert Katherine Albrecht reacted to a proposed bill that would give the US president the power of an Internet "kill switch" in a cyber emergency. The bill doesn't really define what such an emergency would be, and presents a "frightening scenario" for curtailing free speech, she said, citing the current situation in Egypt. She also spoke about search engines gathering and collecting information on consumers based on their searches, and recommended the privacy search engine, startingpage.com.

Three U.S. senators who want to give the president emergency powers over the Internet are protesting comparisons with the "kill switch" highlighted by Egypt's Net disconnection.
In a statement yesterday, the politicians said their intent was to allow the president "to protect the U.S. from external cyber attacks," not to shut down the Internet, and announced that they would revise their legislation to explicitly prohibit that from happening.
"Some have suggested that our legislation would empower the president to deny U.S. citizens access to the Internet," said the statement from Joseph Lieberman (I-Conn.), Susan Collins (R-Maine), and Senator Tom Carper, (D-Del.). "Nothing could be further from the truth." Lieberman, an independent who caucuses with Democrats, is chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
